With Brotha Lynch Hung’s “Stabbed” making its rounds across the web, let’s put it to the test with the other times that Tech N9ne and Brotha Lynch Hung have sliced and diced a track together.

As you can see, the chemistry goes way back before Tech’s latest appearance on Mannibalector. The two first found themselves on the C-Bo-assisted track, “187 On A Hook”, sporting their vintage flows over a Sacc-Town sounding instrumental. The collaboration progressed on “My World” from Tech N9ne’s Everready, and continued on “Strange Music Box” from Tech’s K.O.D.

After Lynch signed the dotted line and aligned with Strange Music, it’s been consistently on ever since. The two have found themselves on numerous appearances on each other’s albums, like Tech’s mind-boggling flow for Lynch’s “Takin’ Online Orders” or Lynch’s paranoid bars for Tech N9ne’s “Sad Circus”.

After taking them all into consideration, now we must ask, which one is the best?

When darkness was demanded, Tech N9ne responded with Boiling Point and gave fans a truly K.O.D. Collection-worthy release that digs deep into the mind and soul of a tormented emcee.

At seven tracks in length, Boiling Point managed to touch on various topics with tracks like “URALYA” and the grim “Hunger” featuring Bishop and Brotha Lynch Hung. Add in Seven as the EP’s only producer, and fans were treated to another solid project from Tech – his third in 2012 actually.

Now that Boiling Point has been circulating for a few days, it’s time to see which track is getting the most plays from Strangeland.

Tech N9ne has always maintained that with no pulse, there is no life. Thanks to slammin’ production from Seven and JMAC, Tech’s latest EP had plenty of pulse to keep speakers knockin’.

The brand new E.B.A.H. EP featured six new beats from Seven and one contribution in the form of “Rock Yo Head” from newcomer JMAC. Providing Tech with a new canvas to lay his rhymes over, both producers served up some intense music that has kept fans buzzing.

When you have so many elite emcees on one team, you’re bound to get a few golden collabs.

With the release of CES Cru’s 13, listeners were treated to yet another verbal slaughtering by way of Tech N9ne and CES on “It’s Over”.  Although the track is a monster of  a banger, it’s not the first time CES Cru has run into the Kansas City King on wax. Actually, this would make their fourth official collaboration.

So, staring down four stellar tracks of lyricism and dynamic delivery – seriously, the flows on all of them are pretty ridiculous, it’s time to see how they all stack up against one another.

From their first clash on Bad Season to CES Cru’s Strange Music debut, it’s all here.

“Livin’ Like I’m Dyin’” – Bad Season

Serving as their introduction to Strangeland, “Livin’ Like I’m Dyin’” enlisted CES to join Tech N9ne, Kutt Calhoun, and Krizz Kaliko for what seemed like the last day on Earth. Don’t get it twisted though, it was all smiles here as the emcees traded verses about going out high on life with drinks, women, and a sick tendency for murdering beats.

 ”Give It Up” – Bonus from All 6′s And 7′s

This may have been a Best Buy bonus, but everything about it was good enough to join the main tracks on All 6′s And 7′s. Recreating the raw atmosphere of a cypher, Ubiquitous and Godemis fired off some heavy bars on this collab that also brought in Lebowski for the opening. This is straight emceeing at its best.

“Unfair” – Welcome To Strangeland

There’s just not enough we can say about this track. Everything about it is BIG. Big sound, big verses, big everything. Traveling through Strangeland, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko bump into CES Cru and what ensues is an exhibition in pure lyricism with fantasy serving as the backdrop.

This was a prelude to CES Cru’s official spot on Strange Music.

“It’s Over”  - 13

CES Cru’s coming out party hit at the stroke of 13 in Strangeland and once again, the four-headed monster struck with a sickening banger backed by Seven’s production. The flows were precise, intricate, and packed a punch as CES Cru, Krizz Kaliko, and Tech N9ne gave up one of the year’s biggest posse cuts.

This album solidified Tech N9ne as the King Of Darkness. Riding the commercial momentum of Killer, the last thing Tech was supposed to do was make the darkest album of his career, but with his mom experiencing extreme sickness, the artist who pulls no punches had no choice. This is an album with a roller-coaster ride with a man riding on the very edges of desperation. From the thrilling “Show Me A God”, to the menacing “Check Yo Temperature” and ending with the mournful “The Martini”, this is arguably Tech N9ne’s most cinematic and harrowing album of all time.

The follow up to K.O.D. and Tech N9ne’s first EP, this is another journey from Anger, to Madness and finally in The Hole. This EP consists of beats originally selected for K.O.D. but because Tech had already filled up the time needed to make the album, they were left alone until this follow-up EP that he promised the fans. Classics such as “009NA”, “Like I Died” and “Stress Relief” make this a must-have for anybody who wants the Tech that nobody else has.

Anyone who listened to The Gates Mixed Plate (not on this poll because it’s a collabos album) and thought Tech lost his edge got a big middle finger with the Seepage EP. Songs like the title track (sporting one of his most ferocious flows of all-time) and “Asshole” make it known that if you thought Tech lost his dark side, you better think again.

Bad Season $9.99 $5.00

With DJ Whoo Kid as the host, Tech N9ne made his mixtape debut with Bad Season, which the mixtape king (that would be Whoo Kid) himself called one of the best he’s ever heard. Setting a new standard for mixtapes, you will not find one jacked beat on this release. Rather, everything is all-original featuring a different east-coast and rugged sound by producer Red Spyda. Songs like “Down For The Block” feature Jay Rock and Tech spitting verses that tear through bulletproof vests, and “Livin’ Like I’m Dyin’” features CES Cru on their first-ever collaboration with Tech N9ne. Bad Season made its way to become the mixtape that the rest would have to live up to if they wanted to be relevant.

All 6′s And 7′s $18.98 $9.49

The album that officially made the mainstream go Tech, All 6′s And 7′s will forever be a breakthrough moment for Tech N9ne and Strange Music. Who else would put two of rap music’s biggest stars on a song that could never make the radio? “Fuck Food” would be that song, and Lil Wayne and T-Pain would be those artists. This album also features some of Tech N9ne’s biggest bangers with “Technicians” and “He’s A Mental Giant”. Let’s not forget the ultimate choppers anthem, “Worldwide Choppers”, the epic rapid-fire song that features EIGHT elite spitters (including Twista, Busta Rhymes and Yelawolf) doing their best to keep up with the emcees before them. If you don’t have All 6′s and 7′s, where have you been?

A startlingly different sound for Tech N9ne, Klusterfuk features production entirely by ¡MAYDAY! and in effect takes Tech N9ne to directions that he’s never been before. The opening title song sets the psychedelic tone for the rest of the album to follow, which features Tech N9ne in storytelling mode like you’ve never heard: the hazy and hungover “Blur” which features Tech trying his best to recall the previous evening’s party and bullshit, “Awkward” which re-tells awkward situations with an arrogant rapper and a swinger wife and husband, the thumping “Can’t Stand Me” which recalls stories of Tech N9ne’s youth in exotic and stylish fashion (featuring Krizz Kaliko crooning in spanish). For evidence that Tech N9ne just continues to get better and better, Klusterfuk is the latest exmample.
