Amidst the all drama as a result of Tech’s recent address to a fan on therealtechn9ne.com (and his Twitter rant not too long before that), we thought it would be good to remind everyone that beneath all the backlash, Tech is a softy for his fans.

This is a clip we found of the Independent Grind Tour’s stop in Tempe, Arizona, where we had previously reported that Tech had signed the ticket for a fan that had died in her sleep the night before the show.  Tech stops the show and brings the departed fan’s friend on stage to sign her ticket, and goes on to thank his fans for all the wonderful support they have showered upon him since his career started more than ten years ago.  Tech even hints at an upcoming tour with Snoop Dogg.  Will the King of the Midwest be joining forces with the Top Dogg of the West Coast to tear up the nation?  Only time will tell.

At The Independent Grind Tour’s stop in Fresno, California, one fan was able to capture the action from the very front, resulting in this remarkable short clip of Tech N9ne and Kutt Calhoun. The video opens up with Tech N9ne doing his standard “Stamina“. With the video being shot from so close to the stage, the result is nothing short of breathtaking. Tech then launches into “Too Much” and at 1:32, introduces Kutt Calhoun. Kutt launches into his verse with the ferocity you expect from a Strange Music performer but mixes it with the sly ghetto swagger that has become synonymous with the Bunk Rock King.

Here’s a clip we pulled from the Independent Grind Tour’s stop in Tempe, Arizona. Tech sits in his dressing room and lip-synchs “Alucard” from his latest release the Seepage EP.  Even while remaining seated, Tech is quite the entertainer as he accompanies his lyrics with Pinnochio-like movements as if he’s being controlled by a puppet master.

For those who haven’t been able to catch the Independent Grind Tour here’s a glimpse of what you’re missing.  This is a clip we found of Tech N9ne’s set in Tempe, Arizona during his performance of the classic call-to-arms “Come Gangsta’”.  Tech sits atop a lift and with unblinking conviction spits lyrics that challenge those who question his authenticity.  The Tempe crowd was plenty active making for a compelling bit of footage.

Show Biz Rule Number 1: The show must go on.  In this clip, taken from the Independent Grind Tour’s stop in Duluth, Minnesota, Tech doesn’t let a power outage stop him from putting on a show and uses the lull as an opportunity to do his rock star thing and dive into the crowd.  Undoubtedly, this is the incident in which his Livestrong Bracelet was stolen.  Regardless, Tech, being a consummate performer and entertainer, shows no signs of being distraught and exclaims afterwards: “Fuck yeah! Duluth is the motherfucking shit nigga!”

Here’s some footage of Tech having some fun before the Fargo, North Dakota show of the Strange Days Tour.  Tech walks up to unsuspecting fans with his clown mask on and jewlery off: some fans are aware of who it is and are subsequently dumbstruck while some fans have no idea who’s behind the mask.  Tech is fond of his clown mask: he sleeps with it on tour and has even done entire interviews while wearing it.

After performing at his second stop of the Independent Grind Tour for a Areola-lacking crowd of Iowans, Tech caught up with EmceeTV for an interview outside of the tour bus. Tech is as restless as can be for the lack of “titties” in the Ceader Rapids crowd: “There must have been Christians in there tonight!” Tech said with a laugh. A hyper Tech goes on to talk about his upcoming mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid, spits some hot bars, and addresses plans for the Lil Wayne collaboration. For its last stop in Washington , The Independent Grind Tour arrived in Seattle for a show at The Showbox SoDo. Seattle usually results in a huge turnout for Tech N9ne and this show was no exception. Hungry fans made their presence known before the show, forming an “crazy” long line outside the theater.
