Ah, that psycho you know and love. Remember your introduction to Tech N9ne? Was it around Anghellic or Absolute Power? Did you ask yourself: “Who the hell is this guy with the insane haircut ripping the microphone to pieces?” Here’s a vintage reel we put together featuring clips of Tech N9ne’s Wicked Wonka Tour performance at Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Krizz Kaliko and Kutt Calhoun join Tech as they all entertain a massive crowd of Juggaloes and Juggalettes. Notable are the costume changes and early-day theatrics of the performance–throughout the reel, Tech raps in a priest’s robe, his signature red Dickies outfit, and a Kansas City Chiefs “9″ jersey. Tech runs through his early-Strange classics: “Stamina”, “Industry Is Punks”, “Sinister Tech”, “Einstein”, “Psycho Bitch”, “This Ring”, “Imma Tell”, and “It’s Alive”. Kutt Calhoun makes his stage-presence known by getting his walk on during “Einstein” and diving face-first into the crowd!
During their time at the Roskilde Festival, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko sat down with DubCNN Magazine for an interview. In the clip, Tech breaks down the origin of his relationship with Krizz Kaliko, defines the rap style of the midwest, and discusses Nnutthowze: “Nnutthowze taught us to think different man and put it somewhere else where everybody else aint.” Click here or watch below for the full interview.
Pop Killer recently unvieled footage of the Kansas City King and his comrade-in-rhyme Krizz Kaliko performing at The Splash Festival. As you might recall, the duo performed at The Splash Festival, a German music festival that included the likes of Nas and Damien Marley, Missy Elliot, and The Wu-Tang Clan. Tech N9ne performed his first live show in Germany this summer at the Splash! Festival. Splash! was formerly held in Chemnitz, Germany, but due to financial difficulties because of the heavy rain in the area in 2005 and 2006, Splash moved to Bitterfeld, Saxony-Anhalt, and has become one of Europe’s biggest Hip Hop and Reggae Festivals. Tech N9ne made a “splash” at the event and thanks to MiseryRawDeluxe.tv we have footage of that performance. Continue reading

Tech N9ne and label mate Krizz Kaliko have been touring all around Europe for the past month playing all the big shows and will soon be making their way back home to Kansas City, MO.
