Of course we already knew that Tech N9ne was a huge fan of the Kansas City duo (how do you think they got signed to Strange Music?), but time alone with a Constant Energy Struggles turned him from diehard fan to fanatic.

CES Cru’s first song to be released from their upcoming album ,”Juice”,  is a classic example of old-school meets new-school, and nowhere is this more apparent than in Tech N9ne’s blistering verse.

Never one to shy away from paying homage to his influences, Tech starts off his verse with an ode to Rakim from the song “Know The Ledge” with his line “Waking em up, shaking the fuck outta…”

While the verse starts out deceptively smooth, it increases in fury with each passing bar until Tech reaches a violent crescendo.
