Due to perform in Flint, MI with Prozak on July 13, Tech N9ne recently sat down with Michigan’s MLive.com for an exclusive interview on his experiences touring, what it’s been like to connect with his large following, and a bizarre boxing incident with Shaggy 2 Dope of the Insane Clown Posse.

Asked to share one of his favorite memories from performing in Michigan, Tech recalled a night that involved Shaggy 2 Dope and a pair of boxing gloves:

“I was doing a show at State Theater a while back, and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse came through to show love. … 

He had two pair of boxing gloves, and he put them on, and he just started boxing people on the block! Going hard, like, ‘Boom! Boom! Boom!’ Blows to the face and everything, knocking [people] out! It was funny! I think he made a dude bleed who got on the gloves with him. If I remember correctly, because we were drunk. He didn’t even have on face paint or anything. He was just in regular clothes, knocking [people] out. I’ve never told anybody that story.”

Tech also went on to discuss the record-breaking Hostile Takeover 2012 Tour and his advice to Machine Gun Kelly.

Already aware that anything can happen in Michigan, Tech N9ne is set to bring the house down on July 13 in Flint.
