I became a Strange fan a few years back but experienced my first Tech N9ne concert on his most recent tour; Hostile Takeover Tour. I was one of the oh so lucky fans that saw him on June 16th at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, New Jersey. It was a concert I will remember for the rest of my life. I was able to experience Prozak, Mayday, Stevie Stone, and MGK along with local talent. I was in the front row from the second local performer on. I made it through the moshing and crowd surfing and other things expected at a concert (keep in mind I'm a small girl) all to see Tech and Kali perform. MGK was the last performer before the man of the hour was to come on stage. Right after MGK stepped foot off the stage, the venue lost power. I personally just thought "It will come back on, nbd." but it never did. After maybe 40 mins of waiting Tech and Krizz came on stage with a megaphone explaining the situation and rapping free style. It was crazy. Anyone within reach, Tech shook their hand and apologized. This man was apologizing and truely sorry for an event that was uncontrollable. He explained that on his next day off he was going to come back with Krizz and they were going to perform for us again for free. I was so excited. He also said he'd be out back partying for a while and that we were all welcome. So I made my way around back, not convinced he'd actually be there, but he was. Tech was chillin outside his bus meeting people and signing things. I myself hugged him and got my ta ta's signed :) It was a crazy experience. I was happy with how the night went regardless of not being able to see a performance. And yet, July 12th I returned to Sayerville, got a spot right in front, and saw Tech and Kali perform. It was fantastic. It made me a technician for life. Tech N9ne is an amazing rapper, outstanding performer, and a guy with a big heart who really does care about all of his fans. Thanks Tech.

That's so dope!! I remember my first tech concert it was at the Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction CO it was off the hook Tech straight up Murdered that shit. His rhymes were flawless, he didn't mess up a verse and he sounds even better live than on CD which is so fuckin rare anymore. I was entertained throughout the concert. I like how Tech and all the other performers move around the whole time on stage; they don't just stand there and shit you know. My favorite thing about that concert was that Tech made everyone in that place feel like one big strange family, like we where a part of something bigger. Truly the best concert experience ever (til the next one mo fuckers). If you haven't been to a Tech N9ne concert you should....no no y'all need to really go to a concert near your city.
