I feel like all this shit about people criticizing tech not being “true fans” is stupid. I love tech n9ne, but does that mean I have to love every one of his songs, or agree with every musical decision he makes? No. I LOVE tech n9ne, his music has gotten me through alot of shit, and anybody who says that that doesn’t make me a true fan can eat a dick.

The site should be supportive of tech but that doesn’t have to be a circlejerk of everybody talking about how unconditionally amazing tech is. People are calling tech the G.O.A.T., but that’s spitting in the face of rappers like biggie, pac, and rakim. That’s not to say that when alls said and done, history wont look at tech as the greatest, but people just need to chill.

But even as far as the critics of tech working with lil wayne, chill the fuck out before you even hear the music. If you’re afraid tech is going to “go mainstream” at least give the man the benefit of the doubt and listen to the music first.

Keep on keeping on tech, and do what you need to do, regardless of what ANYBODY says.

No. I like Tech and totally respect him as an artist. But every single one of his albums has way too much filler for me to consider them classic. The number one thing about a “classic” album to me is being able to listen to every single track, love it, listen to it again and love it just the same if not more. This is something that I feel Tech severely lacks. His hit tracks (not just the singles mind you) are spectacular to say the least. But I feel his consistency from song to song is very lacking. If Tech has a classic album to you then that is wonderful, but to me I say no. Great read though.
