R&B superstar T-Pain has shocked the industry with his announcement that he will no longer implement Auto-Tune in his music. The MC turned singer became the poster child for Auto Tune with a career built on the exclusive use of the effect.  Dumping his signature sound for a new option, T-Pain issued an exclusive statement to AllHipHop.com:

“I vow right here, right now, to never use Auto-Tune again,” T-Pain told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive statement. “I’m onto something that I think is bigger and better called ‘The T-Pain Effect.’”

T-Pain’s announcement comes on the heels of the release of his collaboration with Tech N9ne and Lil Wayne on “Fuck Food” from All 6′s And 7′s.  With his promise to never use Auto -Tune again, “Fuck Food” may be one of the last,  if not THE last track to feature T-Pain’s famous Auto-Tune vocals.  As if the buzz surrounding “Fuck Food” wasn’t already  staggering, this news makes the track that much more historic.
