On May 19th, 2011 I turned 18 and took advantage of it. I have been always wanted a meaningful tattoo that I will be able to show off. I started looking for a tattoo design that means a lot to me. When I saw the ’9′ on the K.O.D. album cover, I knew that it was the one. 9 has many other symbolism to me than just Tech N9ne. Being 9 is the number of completion, my life has been complete. With friends, family, and music. Also, I graduate in 2011. 20 – 11 = 9. Soon after I set the ’9′ in stone, I was listening to the Absolute Power album looking for quotes or sayings that hit me dead straight in the heart. “Keep On Keepin’ On” came on, “….I will never slide, never fall, never fail..” rang through my ears, this is what I want. I hopped on Photoshop and Illustrator. A couple hours later when it was complete, I sat back with a smile on my face. I took my design down to the local tattoo shop, 3 months early, got my appointment set for on my birthday. Why do I rep Strange Music all the time? simply because the music comes out with heart and soul and loyalty, while other record companies lack all of this. Mindless Zombies. From moving to Lee’s Summit 6 years ago, my life changed. By being introduced to Strange Music, I was hooked. When I moved from LSMO to the Twin Cities, I took my Strange loyalty to the next level. Taking a step into the Street Team and spreading it like a disease out here.
Keep on Keepin’ on
