Tech Mentioned In Nappy Roots Interview

The Nappy Roots have been trailing the independent game for a few years now.  The Southern hip hop group blew up earlier in the decade with hits like “Aw Naw” and “Po’ Folks”.  After leaving their major label, the group is now on tour bringing their Southern flair to small towns everywhere.  Nappy Roots member Scales recently sat down with the Great Falls Tribune for an interview.  Scales discusses the success of the Nappy Roots and the appeal of independent music, including Tech N9ne.  A good read for all music fans.

Watermellon, Chicken, and Grits was one of the best rap albums ever made in my opinion but after that Nappy fell off super hard. I just dont understand how they could never make another album that came close. Oh well, I still listen to that album to this day. its a banger from front to back.
